I decided to go for a walk shortly after the storm and I found a beautiful views. The air was fresh and smelled geosmin. Over fields and meadows raised after-rain mist. Clouds were still "angry" but slowly the received lighter colors with pinks and oranges because of sundown. I was walking in wellingtons along the muddy path between grass, grain and flowers, and saw old shelter all covered in plants. So from a little different point of view, with grasses near camera, I made this bunker a photo with this mist behind and crazy clouds above, and thought about the old times when people really used this mobilization infantry shelters. That kind of structures on this terrain are from First World War. Wrocław, Swojczyce, Polska.
nice use of unfocused foreground
it reminds me the first scene of Apocalypse now
Excellent shot! Keep on with a good work
Lovely job. =3
And the peace of the open spaces finally comes to this infantry shelter.... Wonderful photo, haunting in style and in history, and beautifully captured in your wonderful use of depth of field. Love it!
